What do the beeps mean?
A message from your tag
At electronic toll points your tag will tell you about your account. Here's what it says:

| Account has been deactivated, suspended or cancelled - you may receive a toll notice - call your tolling provider immediately |

| There may be a problem, check that your tag is installed according to the instructions provided and if the problem persists call your tolling provider |

Listen for the beeps on the Eastern Distributor! If your tag does not beep, or beeps four times, you may either receive a toll notice that includes a $1.10 fee to transfer the toll to your tag account, or receive a $0.55 per trip 'no tag fee'. Click here for tips on how to avoid fees.
