Eastern Distributor closure schedule

Planned night maintenance closures

The following motorway closures have been scheduled for 2013 to conduct essential maintenance on the Eastern Distributor.

To minimise traffic impacts, these closures occur only at night. They commence after 10.00pm and end before 5am.

From time to time individual ramp closures are also required.  These are advertised using the variable message signs on the motorway.

The variable message signs also display the latest information about any unavoidable last minute changes to the following schedule. 

Both directions (Northbound and Southbound)

Northbound (Citybound)

Dates (inclusive) Description Time Sunday 13 to Thursday 17 January Mon 4- Thu 7 Feb Sun 19- Thu 23 May Sun 1- Thu 5 Sep Sun 1- Thu 5 Dec South Dowling Street and Eastern Distributor - Detour via Lachlan to Cleveland Stret via Bourke with Cresent St closed to local traffic only at the intersection of Bourke and Crescent.  The Eastern Distributor will be closed northbound   The Eastern Distributor will be closed northbound   The Eastern Distributor will be closed northbound Commences after 10.00pm Ends before 5am

Please note this schedule may change for operational reasons. Motorists are advised to take notice of variable message signs on the motorway which provide advance notice of closures.
